Normal Temperature Adjustment

If there is one thing we know about Indiana weather, it's that it is unpredictable! That's why Boonville and Chandler Natural Gas Corporations, along with seven other Indiana Utility Companies, have implemented a billing mechanism whereby a portion of your natural gas bill is adjusted to reflect normal weather conditions. In simple terms, your bill is adjusted lower when the weather is colder than normal, and when the weather is warmer than normal, a similar upward adjustment is made. Because temperatures vary from month to month, the adjustment is different each month. The process helps to stabilize your bill. The process has already been in use for serveral years by many gas utilities around the county, including Indiana.
